COUNSELOR APPLICATION

Thank you for your interest in applying for a volunteer counselor position for Ronald McDonald Camp 2009.

Please keep in mind that this is a one-week sleep away camp and counselors are expected to be at camp for the whole week of August 15-22, 2009.
In addition new counselors are required to schedule an interview and attend an orientation session in July.

Print ALL documents and read them carefully. It is imperative that you follow all instructions to ensure that the application is completed properly. We are unable to accept at camp any counselors who have not submitted the required documents. Please understand that this process is necessary to ensure the well-being of the children in our care.

The application deadline is June 1st 2009.
Please ensure that all items in the following list are completed and sent to Carolann Costa at the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House (contact information is on the application)

  • Volunteer application with essay
  • Staff letter of agreement
  • Copy of driver’s license
  • Copy of Health Insurance Card, Front and Back
  • National Background Investigations (NBI) Clearance Form
  • Health Form – physical done every two years
  • TB test (EVERY year)
  • References (for NEW counselors only)
